Volunteer Spotlight: The Heart Behind Our Mission

Volunteer Spotlight: The Heart Behind Our Mission

At MPFC, our work would not be possible without the incredible volunteers who generously give their time, talents, and connections to help children living with disabilities receive life-changing therapy and medical equipment. Today, we’re proud to spotlight three amazing individuals who have played a meaningful role in helping our mission grow.

Jackie – A Volunteer Since the Beginning

Jackie has been part of MPFC since the very beginning. From the early days of the foundation, she has been a constant source of support, helping us grow our impact year after year.

Jackie has played a key role in securing donations and sponsorships, helping ensure our events raise the funds needed to support families. She also helps plan our events behind the scenes and is always there on event day making sure everything runs smoothly. Her dedication, generosity, and belief in our mission have helped shape MPFC into what it is today.

Chris – Building Community Connections

Chris is another incredible volunteer who generously gives his time to support our events. He assists with day-of event operations and is always ready to lend a helping hand wherever needed.

In addition to volunteering with MPFC, Chris is involved with The Shea Center for Therapeutic Riding, where he supports programs that help individuals with disabilities through therapeutic horseback riding. Through his involvement there, Chris helped connect MPFC with the Shea Center, strengthening our community partnerships and expanding opportunities for the children we serve.

Helen – Championing Our Mission

Helen brings both passion and experience to our volunteer team. As someone involved with the CHOC Foundation, she understands firsthand the importance of community support in helping children receive the care they need.

Helen plays an important role in supporting our annual golf tournament, helping raise funds that go directly toward grants for therapy, equipment, and specialized care. Her enthusiasm and commitment to helping children make a meaningful difference each year.

Grateful For Our Volunteers

Volunteers like Jackie, Chris, and Helen remind us that it truly takes a community to make a difference. Their time, energy, and dedication help ensure that more children receive the therapies and medical equipment they need to thrive.

We are so grateful for their continued support and for everyone who stands alongside MPFC in our mission to help children living with disabilities reach their fullest potential.
