Help Build a Wheelchair Ramp
MPFC is actively fundraising to carry-out a large project for a deserving family in need.
For most people, their home is a place they feel most comfortable at and it is built for their basic needs. For handicapped children, this is not always the case. Oftentimes, as children grow and their wheelchair gets bigger, the less their home provides comfort and accessibility. Simple tasks such as getting in and out of their home causes multiple challenges. Health insurance does not cover the cost of adding a wheelchair ramp in a child’s home. A cost that most families who have children with disabilities cannot afford. This is where MPFC steps in.
We have built a state-of-the-art wheelchair ramp for Augustine’s home. This addition to just one part of his home has made a world of difference for him and his mother. Now that he has easier access in and out of his home, he is much happier and his mother has more ease in her life.
