Carter, 2

Carter, 2

Carter is a sweet 2-year-old boy who was born with a rare genetic disorder.  The main symptoms he experiences are developmental delays, intellectual disability, infantile hypotonia, speech and motor delay, recurrent infections, seizures, and gastrointestinal dysfunction. MPFC awarded Carter a $3,500 grant for a 3-week Climb Intensive Pediatric Therapy.

Carter’s main goal for therapy is to improve his fine and gross motor skills as well as his speech. His parents also hope to see Carter to learn how to crawl then hopefully walk. They are also looking to improve the use of his hands, specifically feeding himself more and grasping objects for longer periods of time. We are so excited to see Carter’s progress!

Donate today to help children like Carter get the therapy they need.
