It’s that time of the year again! Giving Tuesday is on November 29th this year. Mark your calendars and get ready to support MPFIC during this holiday season.
Giving Tuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past 10 years, this idea has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
You have helped us change the lives of so many children in 2022 but there is still a lot of work to be done. Give the gift of impact by participating in Giving Tuesday.
On this global day of generosity, we are raising funds for Logan and Lawson’s DMI Therapy at Blossom and Grow. The therapy program lasts for 2 weeks, which consists of two 45-minute sessions daily, for a total of 20 sessions.
Logan is adorable 3-year-old boy who has cerebral palsy. He longs to be independent. His mind moves faster than his body and he is eager to learn and progress. His goals in therapy are to crawl on all fours, gain more strength, balance, and independence.
Lawson is a sweet 3-year-old boy who has cerebral palsy and epilepsy. He has undergone several surgeries which resulted in major right side weakness and right sided hemiplegia cerebral palsy. His goals in therapy are:
Learn to stand independently with the hope of taking steps in the future.
Use of his right hand and strengthen the muscles in his right leg
Learn to eat with a spoon/fork
Drink with an open cup
