This year, we’re coming together for a very special new application: Gabriel, a bright and loving little boy who needs access to a life-changing piece of adaptive equipment.
Meet Gabriel
Gabriel has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy, a neurological condition that affects muscle control, coordination, and movement. He is currently unable to walk, crawl, or sit up independently. Actions like reaching for toys, or sitting with less support, require enormous effort.
Despite these challenges, Gabriel radiates joy and determination. His family has seen how therapy can unlock meaningful progress: improved head control, better engagement with his environment, and moments of increased stability that expand his world little by little.
Why We’re Fundraising
To help Gabriel build strength, coordination, and functional movement, we are raising $3,000 to purchase his Special Tomato adaptive seating chair, a medically necessary device that will allow him to sit safely, participate in therapy, and engage more fully with the world around him.

The Special Tomato chair provides the crucial postural support Gabriel’s body needs. Because he cannot sit on his own, this adaptive chair offers secure head, trunk, and pelvic stabilization, allowing him to sit safely, comfortably, and in alignment. With this chair, Gabriel can participate more fully in family meals, playtime, and therapy activities. It also adjusts as he grows, giving him a long-term solution that promotes comfort, engagement, and greater independence.
