Jeremy is a sweet 6-year-old boy who suffers from a birth injury and needs additional support. His health insurance has terminated his care and he can no longer go to the therapy he needs to get better. Our foundation has stepped in and funds speech and occupational therapy for Jeremy at NAPA Center in Los Angeles. He has already been showing amazing progress and we cannot wait to see how much more he will improve!
Please support MPFC so that we may continue to help children who do not have the health insurance coverage they need.
“I just wanted to write a couple of words of gratitude. I just really want to thank MPFC for stepping up and helping my Jeremy where the insurance couldn’t, wouldn’t or did not deem “Medically Necessary”. When Jeremy first started speech therapy he had severe echolalia and lots of trouble with WH questions and certain sounds and pronunciations. We really thought it wouldn’t improve much but we were wrong. NAPA and MPFIC turned out to be the perfect formula for Jeremy. We are so fortunate NAPA told us about MPFIC. Now Jeremy is speaking average for his age but is now working on social pragmatic speech, idioms, sarcasm, and staying on conversation subjects. He has grown so much and is thriving as an hour student in school. His reading has really taken off with his speech therapy. Thank you so much MPFC for gifting us the opportunity to allow Jeremy to reach his full potential and not just what is considered “medically necessary” we owe it all to NAPA and MPFC. Behind every great support system comes great success.” – Lorena, Jeremy’s Mother
