Leah has a rare genetic syndrome called Dup15q Syndrome and HIE. Because of these diagnoses Leah has battled infantile spasms, sensory issues, global developmental delays and g-tube placement. Like other kids with the same syndrome, Leah will likely stare epilepsy and autism in the face. MPFC awarded a grant for intensive therapy at CLIMB. Leah’s goals for therapy are to walk unassisted and to feed herself independently. We cannot wait to see how much Leah improves at therapy.
