Every movement is worth celebrating.
The MPFC Move-A-Thon is a 2-week long fundraiser celebrating every milestone.
Each participating child has a unique movement goal based on their own abilities. Throughout August, they’ll work hard during therapy and at home while sharing their progress with family, friends, and supporters.
When you donate, you’re celebrating their determination while helping even more children receive life-changing therapy and equipment through MPFC.
Because every child deserves the opportunity to move toward their fullest potential.
How the Move-A-Thon Works
1. Meet Our Movers
Get to know each participating child, learn about their journey, and see the movement goal they’re working toward.
2. Make a One-Time Donation
Choose any amount to celebrate their journey.
Every dollar helps MPFC continue providing therapy grants and adaptive equipment to children who need it most.
3. Follow Their Progress
Throughout the Move-A-Thon, we’ll share updates, photos, videos, and milestone moments as our participants work toward their goals.

Meet The Movers
Birdie
Birdie is a determined little girl who is working hard to build the strength and stability needed to reach new milestones. This year, her Move-A-Thon goal is to sit independently for one full minute, a milestone that will strengthen her independence and open the door to even more progress. Every cheer and every pledge helps encourage Birdie while supporting other children on their own therapy journeys.
Jax
After a life-changing brain injury caused by a rare complication of influenza, Jax is courageously relearning how to sit, crawl, and walk. His Move-A-Thon goal is to take 2 intentional steps while holding onto furniture, a huge milestone on his road to recovery.
Autumn
Autumn is a determined girl living with Rett syndrome, a rare neurodevelopmental disorder that affects her motor function, coordination, and mobility. She works hard in physical and aquatic therapy to build strength, improve her movement, and gain greater independence.
For this year’s MPFC Move-a-Thon, Autumn is working toward a big milestone: Stand assisted for 30 seconds!
Jack
Jack has worked incredibly hard through years of therapy and recently reached an amazing milestone, walking independently! Now, he’s continuing to build his strength, coordination, and confidence.
For the MPFC Move-a-Thon, Jack’s goal is to reach 15,000 steps!
Avery
One-year-old Avery was born with HIE, resulting in cerebral palsy and CVI. She has already overcome so much and continues to work hard in therapy to build her strength and mobility. For the MPFC Move-a-Thon,
Avery’s goal is to work toward walking! 💙
Gabriel
Gabriel has cerebral palsy, which affects his strength, movement, and coordination.
For his Move-a-Thon goal, he’s working toward spending 45 minutes in his walker/stander to build strength and independence!
