Help Jax Take His First 2 Steps

After developing necrotizing encephalitis as a complication of influenza, Jax lost many of the skills he had worked so hard to achieve.

Today, Jax is courageously relearning how to sit up, crawl, stand, and eventually walk again. Through physical and occupational therapy, he continues to make incredible progress despite the challenges of weak muscles and significant tightness in his legs.

For this year’s MPFC Move-A-Thon, Jax’s goal is to take 2 intentional steps while holding onto furniture. Those two steps will represent months of determination, resilience, and hard work.

Every donation helps provide life-changing therapy grants for children living with disabilities while cheering Jax on as he works toward this incredible milestone.
