Lorelei is a sweet 7-year-old who experiences global development delays due to seizures. Her symptoms include inability to walk, dress, feed, or use the toilet independently. She has been doing hippotherapy at The Shea Center and has been seeing amazing progress. She is showing improvement in her balance, core muscles, and her reflexes. This has enabled her to move better but she still has a long journey ahead.
Unfortunately, her Grandmother can no longer afford to keep her in hippotherapy. MPFC awarded Lorelei a grant for 3 months of hippotherapy. We cannot wait to see the improvement she will make!
