Magnus is a sweet 3-year-old boy who suffered an anoxic brain injury from a drowning accident and is currently in a minimally conscious state. His prognosis is uncertain, but his family is holding onto hope for further recovery. His mother says he has such a tremendous spirit that she cannot see him not improving.
His family reached out for MPFC to help fund adaptive equipment that will help them integrate Magnus into their lives at home and help him interact with his twin brother. We awarded Magnus a $1,200 grant for a Tomato Chair and a Trotter Stroller.
“That’s wonderful news! Thanks to you and the Grant Committee for your generosity! We are really committed to integrating Magnus into our daily family lives, as we believe that’s going to be critical to his recovery, and this equipment will help us so much.”- Amrita, Magnus’s Mother
