Meet Morgan, a resilient young warrior who has faced more than her fair share of challenges. Born with congenital CMV and CP, Morgan has bravely battled numerous health issues. Over the past year, she has endured multiple stays in the PICU, fought off severe bloodstream infections, and many more health complications. These relentless medical battles have led to setbacks that would be daunting for any child, but especially for Morgan, who already navigates life with physical and developmental hurdles. However, there is hope on the horizon. MPFC awarded two grants for a DMI intensive therapy program that is poised to be a transformative force in Morgan’s journey! These intensives will offer her the opportunity to unlock her full potential in gross motor development and reclaim the balance and coordination she lost during her extended hospital stays over the last 18 months.
