Raylix, an adorable 4-year-old girl diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy: Type 1. Due to her condition, she experiences general muscle weakness and development delays. MPFC has awarded Raylix a $4,800 grant for intensive therapy at the CI Pediatric Therapy Center. Her primary goal during therapy is to enhance overall strength and she hopes to achieve the milestone of independently using a walker in the near future.
