River is a 5-year-old adorable boy who drowned when he was 15 months old. He suffered a traumatic brain injury from the accident. He also had a tracheostomy and currently has a G Tube for feeding. River has a long journey that requires extensive care to gain strength to learn how to sit, stand, and communicate. His father, James, is determined to make River’s life as happy and joyous as possible. He takes him on daily walks and takes him to the beach several times a week. River has grown out of his current stroller. MPFC has funded an adaptive stroller with the proper equipment that will give River and James more ease and comfort on their adventures. We are so excited to see where River’s new stroller takes him!
