In this “Ask an Expert,” Erin Garrison of Climb Intensive Therapy Center explains how this innovative, intensive therapy works, why it’s different, and the life-changing progress families are seeing, both in movement and beyond.

Swim therapy gives children with disabilities the freedom to move, build strength, and gain confidence in ways that may not be possible on land. By reducing stress on the body and supporting sensory regulation, aquatic therapy creates powerful physical and emotional benefits. This is why MPFC proudly funds swim therapy for families in need.

MPFC received a $1,000 grant from the Tustin Community Foundation to support children with disabilities in Tustin. The funding will benefit MPFC’s Therapy for Kids program, helping families access essential therapies not covered by insurance and improve children’s mobility, communication, independence, and overall quality of life through customized, joyful therapeutic services.

MPFC is honored to receive a $55,000 unrestricted grant from the Samueli Foundation’s Breakaway Fund. This transformative support will strengthen our systems, empower our team, and expand our capacity to serve more children and families in need. With this investment, we’re building a stronger foundation to reach more kids—more effectively and with lasting impact.
