Adam is a sweet 3-year-old boy who has spastic diplegia cerebral palsy. He cannot walk or stand independently and has fine motor delays. Adam has attended previous DMI Therapy sessions and has hit milestones his family has only dreamed of. Unfortunately, his health insurance does not cover this cost and his family cannot afford additional sessions.
MPFC awarded Adam a $2,500 grant for DMI Therapy at Blossom and Grow for February 2023. The therapy program lasts 2 weeks. His goals are to learn how to walk in a posterior walker and sit independently so that he will be able to attend preschool.
