Joshua was diagnosed at a young age with Chronic Enlarged Vestibular, a condition that required him to wear a hearing aid. In October, a devastating biking accident left Joshua without any hearing in his right ear. After exhausting all treatment options that his health insurance covers without any progress, Joshua and his parents felt lost and hopeless.
Until Joshua’s parents reached out to our foundation, the very costly therapy that could possibly help Joshua recover his hearing felt out of reach and impossible to afford. With our help, he is now receiving Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy at Hoag Hospital. These treatments have been completely life-changing for Joshua and his family. Not only has it brought back hearing in his right ear, but it has also brought back hope to him and his family.
