Malena is an extraordinary 13-year-old girl with a degenerative condition called Spinal Muscular Atrophy, SMA. Despite all that she has gone through, she holds a 4.3 GPA in school and does not let her challenges hold her back from success.
Her mother, Nina, tells us “I’m very proud of her. She is my inspiration because of the way she handles her condition. My daughter is a fighter!”
