MPFC Awarded Grant From There Is A Light Foundation

MPFC Awarded Grant From There Is A Light Foundation

We are thrilled to announce that the Maryam Parman Foundation For Children is the recipient of a $5,000 grant from There Is A Light Foundation! We currently have a waitlist of 6 children waiting for funding for intensive therapy. This grant will help us approve more children to receive intensive therapy and help families who have been patiently waiting for this life changing therapy.

Impact of There Is A Light Foundation Grant

There Is A Light Foundation is helping children like Cesily, a 3-year-old girl who has spina bifida.  Due to her condition, she is unable to walk independently. She has had a few setbacks due to surgeries and leg braces issues which is part of her spina bifida journey.

Cesily is tiny but mighty! She is determined to walk on her own and also play hopscotch without using her walker. She believes she will reach her goal and says “I  can walk soon with no help when my legs get stronger!”

There Is a Light Foundation’s grant is helping pay for Cesily’s intensive therapy at NAPA Center. We are so thankful for their dedication to help change lives alongside MPFC.
