Liam is a 3-year-old boy who was born prematurely at 32 weeks. He had brain bleeding and a blood clot, which caused a brain injury that resulted in cerebral palsy and epilepsy.
After meeting with NAPA Center’s therapists, they confirmed that Liam is a great candidate for their intensive therapy program. The therapists have recommended a 4 hour session, consisting of OT, PT, DMI, and speech therapy. The cost of the program recommended is a total of $7,500.
Unfortunately, Liam’s health insurance will not cover the cost of the therapy. He is currently on the waitlist for 2021 at NAPA Center and will possibly have to wait until 2022. MPFC has awarded Liam a grant to cover his three-week session of intensive therapy program at NAPA Center. We cannot wait to see all of the amazing progress he will make!
